Picula predlaže odlaganje popisa: Izvršiti ga kada se završi politički zastoj
Izvjestilac Evropskog parlamenta za Crnu Goru, Tonino Picula, podnio je danas amandman na Izvještaj EP o Crnoj Gori, u kojem navodi da bi popis stanovništva trebalo izvršiti kada se završi politički zastoj u zemlji.
Glasanje EP o Izvještaju o napretku Crne Gore za 2022. godinu čiji je autor Picula, zakazano je za sjutra, a u jednom od amandmana koji je pored Picule podnio i poslanik Pedro Markes, Crna Gora se poziva da popis sprovede u skladu sa EU standardima.
”Poziva se Crna Gora, da izvrši odavno zakašnjeli popis stanovništva i stanova u skladu sa standardima EU i međunarodnim standardima, čim se završi politički zastoj u zemlji, tako da se ovo važno pitanje ne koristi kao još jedan izgovor za jačanje polarizacije društva” navodi se u amandmanu.
Kako dodaju, očekuje da će se popis sprovesti na otvoren i transparentan način bez ikakvog političkog uplitanja, uz propisno prebrojavanje svih priznatih nacionalnih manjina bez straha od zastrašivanja ili kaznenog progona.
Kako je ranije istaknuto u nacrtu Rezolucije o napretku Crne Gore, Evropski parlament pozdravlja multietnički identitet zemlje i očekuje dalju promociju i poštovanje svih jezika, kulturnog naslijeđa i tradicije lokalnih zajednica i nacionalnih manjina.
Istaknuta je i žal zbog činjenice da su se društvena polarizacija i podjele pojačale, a naglašena je i potreba za zaštitom prava svih nacionalnih manjina, uključujući njihova politička, socijalna i ekonomska prava.
