Uklonjen spomenik Jusufu Čeliću u Vusanju
Opština Gusinje uklonila se juče u selu Vusanje spomenik Jusufu Čeliću (Isufu Kameru Čelaju), saradniku fašista u Drugom svjetskom ratu, pišu Vijesti.
Spomenik je uklonjen po nalogu inspektora za kulturna dobra Ministarstva kulture i medija, koja je 12. avgusta izdala rješenje i ostavila rok od tri dana za izvršenje. Lokalna uprava je nalog ispoštovala.
Bista Čeliću postavljena je 2013. godine bez saglasnosti Ministarstva. Iste godine, u julu, inspekcija je izdala nalog za uklanjanje, ali on tada nije sproveden.
Prema navodima pojedinih istoričara, Čelić je bio komandir čete vulnetara – milicije koju su činili Albanci iz Plava, Gusinja i Albanije, a koju je formirala fašistička Italija. Ova formacija, tvrdi se, bila je odgovorna za zločine nad pravoslavnim stanovništvom tog kraja.
Predsjednik Nacionalnog savjeta Albanaca, Faik Nika , juče je saopštio da Čelić nije bio saradnik okupatora, već “uvaženi borac za slobodu svog naroda i mještana u Plavu i Gusinju”.
